Training:
Karissa is an empathetic and educated Animal Trainer with 3+ years of experience working with learners of various species, dispositions, and backgrounds. She works primarily with dogs, horses, and their owners.
She meets each client where they are at and shapes training sessions around their needs. Through effective ethical, science-based training, she helps clients grow their knowledge and skill set, and strengthen the bond between them and their animals. Rather than focusing solely on training, she works to build a strong line of communication between clients and their furry friends. Her focus is building true partnerships, not just obedience.
With easy and fun training exercises, she aims to empower her clients with knowledge of behavior and force-free/fear-free training methods.
